What payment methods does PLUSgives accept?
PLUSgives uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encryption to scramble credit card information so that customer transactions are safe and secure.

PLUSgives accepts the following forms of payment for purchases:

What shipping options does PLUSgives offer?
In-stock items are shipped within 72 hours, and will arrive in 3 - 7 business days. You will be notified if an item is out of stock. If you order items with different availability times, we will ship your order when your complete order becomes available. If you choose to have items shipped as they become available you will be billed for each item when it ships.

Our Warehouse processes online orders between Monday and Friday. Online orders placed with Home Delivery will be delivered Tuesday-Saturday. Online orders placed with expedited shipping will be delivered Monday-Friday. Orders placed after 3pm (Pacific Time) will not be processed until the following business day.

Please be mindful of Holidays as shipping carriers are closed on select days, and the volume of orders received increases and extends time in transit. For a complete list of all U.S. holidays observed by FedEx, please feel free to visit their website. Weather conditions may affect transit times as well.

A shipping confirmation is emailed to you as soon as your purchase has been shipped, which will allow you to track the status of your shipment.

For all orders shipping within the contingent United States (excluding PO Boxes, APO, and FPO addresses), PLUSgives uses FedEx. Shipping costs are dependent upon the weight of the item.

How do I check on the status of my order?
If you created an account, you can use the directions below to view your order information:

2. Your Account Dashboard will show recent orders upon log-in. For older orders, click My Orders in the navigation on the left hand side of the page.

What is your return policy?
PLUSgives accepts returns up to 30 days from the delivery date for merchandise purchased on www.plus.gives. At this time, PLUSgives does not cover the cost of return shipping. PLUSgives is unable to accept returns for items that have been altered or damaged after being received. For example:

  • Creases/Folds from improper handling and/or storing —it is best to lay the mat flat or keep it rolled up
  • Damage from excessive amounts of water or other liquids
  • Improper cleaning (i.e. harsh chemicals, damage from a washing machine)
  • Damage from use other than yoga or similar fitness activities
  • Uneven color patterns or discoloration due to use
  • Damage from outside elements/factors that puncture or deface the mat 

The cost of shipping is non-refundable, and a $10.00 Restocking Fee may be applied to any items returned outside of the 30-Day return window or to any merchandise that has been used or is out of its original packaging.

How can I use a Coupon Code online?
To redeem a coupon code:

1. When you are ready to check out, click the shopping bag at the top right of your screen and then View Cart.

2. Below your cart on the left-hand side, there is a Discount Code box. Be sure to avoid including a space before the promotion code, which sometimes happens if you cut and paste from an email or other electronic communication.

3. Hit Apply Coupon and look for the discount to apply in your total on the right-hand side of the screen, before continuing.

NOTE: The majority of our promotions cannot be combined with other offers or discounts. It is always great to check the terms and conditions for specific rules and order eligibility.

Can I apply a promotional code to a past purchase?
We are unable to apply promotional codes and discounts to past purchases.

Why is my coupon code invalid?
If you receive a message saying that your coupon code is invalid, it could be due to any of the following reasons:

• The promotion has expired.
• The promotion cannot be used with the items you want to purchase.
• Promotional items may be missing from your cart.
• The promotion cannot be combined with any other offer.

 

 

PLUSgives YOGA MAT LIFETIME GUARANTEE

What is the PLUSgives yoga mat Lifetime Guarantee?
PLUSgives guarantees its yoga mats to be free of manufacturer defects and to last a lifetime, if used and cared for properly. Should a mat not meet PLUSgives' standard of quality at the time it is received, we will replace the product, regardless of where it was purchased. If the product wears out from regular use, under normal conditions, we will replace the product, regardless of where it was purchased. Damage resulting from improper handling or care, post-purchase modifications, alterations, negligence, and use for a purpose other than for which it was designed, are not covered by the PLUSgives Guarantee.

If you would like to request a replacement mat, please contact us. PLUSgives will review the submission, determine if the mat falls under our Lifetime Guarantee program criteria, and provide further instruction. You will receive a response to your inquiry within two business days.

What is acceptable criteria covered under the guarantee?
The following conditions are covered under our Lifetime Guarantee for PLUSgives mats:

  • Surface imperfections, such as gouges, slices and divots found at the time of purchase before use.
  • Worn or peeling top or bottom surface from regular use.
  • Undefined surface patter (no fabric-like finish).

What is not covered under the guarantee?
Examples of criteria not covered under our lifetime guarantee for PLUSgives mats include:

  • Creases/Folds/Discoloration from improper handling and/or storing. (It is best to lay the mat flat or keep it rolled up.)
  • Uneven color patterns or discoloration at the time of purchase, or due to use.
  • Damage from excessive amounts of water or other liquids (i.e. submerging the mat under water).
  • Improper cleaning (i.e. harsh chemicals, damage from a washing machine,
    vacuum cleaner, etc.)
  • Damage from use other than yoga or similar fitness activities.
  • Damage from outside elements/factors that puncture the mat.
  • Extended exposure to direct sunlight.

Is there latex in a PLUSgives mat?
No. PLUSgives mats are 100% latex-free!

How do I clean my mat? What do I clean it with?
Lightly scrub the mat with a soft brush, cloth or sponge using a gentle, non-solvent cleaner, a 50/50 mixture of water and apple cider vinegar. Wipe clean with water and air dry in the sunshine.

We do not recommend cleaning your mat with a garden hose, putting it in the bathtub, shower, washing machine, or using a vacuum cleaner — any of those will likely damage the mat and void the Lifetime Guarantee.

How do I keep from slipping on my recently purchased PLUSgives mat?
There is a break-in period for all mats. The more the mat is used, the softer and grippier the material becomes!

The break-in period varies from mat to mat since it is a textile and also because each yogi’s practice varies quite a bit. Typically, it takes about three months of daily practice and a bit of slipping during that time so that the friction of feet and hands break-in the mat.

How do I “break in” my new mat?
Just like your favorite pair of jeans or a well-worn baseball glove, you new PLUSgives mat requires a break-in process. As you practice, the top surface will naturally wear in, transforming it into one that’s uniquely yours. The more you stretch, twist, sweat and breathe together, the better it gets—just like your practice.

Designed to last a lifetime (with a guarantee to back it up), you’ll never wear your mat out, you’ll just wear it in. Regardless of which break-in method you use, it’s really all about making the mat yours.

The best way to break in your mat is practice, practice, practice.

Which side of the mat should I use?
The top of the mat has a slip resistant, fabric-like finish and frog logo in the top right-hand corner. The bottom has a dot pattern texture, which prevents the mat from sliding on the bottom surface. 

How do I get my mat to lie flat after it has been rolled up?
If you store your mat rolled up, try rolling it so the top surface is facing outwards. This keeps the corners of the mat flat when practicing.

I have left my mat unrolled, but it still has an odor. Now what?
In addition to keeping the mat unrolled, you can clean the mat with a 50/50 mixture of water and organic cider vinegar solution.
